Marrapese Export is a company located in the Centro Agroalimentare of Verona, which, situated in via Sommacampagna 63 D/E, has become for some years now the preferential logistic centre for the export of every fruit and vegetable product of Italian and foreign origin.

Our long family story in the ‘’FRUIT & VEGETABLES’’ sector began in the far 1924 in a small square called Piazza Navona in the oldest part of the historical center of Verona. It was a real rude and old type of market, lot of small and hand-made stands where people, from all over the city, came to buy veggies for their families.

Some years later the market moved to a bigger square called ‘’Isolo square’’ due to the rapid development of the city, which follow the exponential increasing of food needing of the people.

Later the WW II, between 1952 and 1956, was finally inaugurated a structure dedicated only for the business of fruit and vegetables, the old Verona Market! This was a quick skip to the future, different companies with different stands, firsts trucks after carts pulled by horses, and a business which start to increase in volumes with the borns of the minimarkets and supermarkets around the city.

In the 2003 was inaugurated the new Verona Market, and things changed again drastically, due to the increasing of technologies, with trucks, trains (which passed inside the marked) and links created through all Italy, this sector grown esponentially.

This raise of the globalization and technologies, moved some companies to the Europe, and there is when our company start to change, the direction on the foreign business and the arrival of the 5th generation of our family left space to a new company, the Marrapese Export & Services, made of Marco, Mattia and Nicolò (2021), which aims to the future with an eye on the past, exporting not only just fruit and vegetables, but our story too.

Our company specialises in the search for the best seasonal Italian products, with the intention of enhancing the high quality of Italian excellence. We are dedicated to supplying Italy’s large and small retailers, from the largest supermarkets to the smallest shops.

Our aim is to satisfy our customers’ demands by guaranteeing top-quality fruit and vegetables. Throughout the year we offer the best on the market in terms of taste, goodness and beauty.
